Piliallri Native Arts

Piliallri (“work that was created by him/it”) Native Arts offers customized artwork created by Ossie Kairaiuak.
 
Ossie’s skillsets include making drums with a customized artwork/logo by request from clients, masks large and small, male dance fans, uluaq (women’s knife), and drum-making instruction to various groups.
 
He is also the founder and drum leader of the traditional Yup’ik dance troupe, Acilquq, and composes traditional Yup’ik songs, some of which are used for traditional first dance ceremonies (“Yuraqerraaq”) in Yup’ik communities.
