Business Description/Artwork

Indigenouz Creationz is aimed at creating authentic Native Alaska/American jewelry and clothing that celebrates Indigenous artistry and culture while blending traditional techniques and modern designs. I create my arts and crafts because it’s my passion, and what drives me to make them is my love for my culture, and people. I also enjoy learning new things. Through my arts and crafts I am also spreading awareness for 3 causes that are dear to my heart, which are: Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women, Every Child Matters, and Ashley Barr.

MMIW aims to end this horrific trend, while also using my arts and crafts Facebook account to spread the word about current missing Indigenous peoples specifically in Alaska, Every Child Matters is for the Native American children that were forced into Residential Boarding schools, and Ashley Barr is the little girl from Kotzebue that was victimized.

The one specific cause I want to explain more is MMIW. When it started in Alaska around 2019, as a Native Alaskan woman who has suffered abuse, I had to support it. So, I started with a one of a kind dress design using the MMIW logo.I was inspired to make more designs then I added them to my “line” of designs. Being “known” for making these earrings makes spreading awareness for these causes all the more special.
