I’m Yup’ik from Bethel, AK. My Yup’ik name is Tuqillinguuq. My grandparents are Lott and Elizabeth Egoak Sr. of Akiak, AK. My mother is Nellie and my dad was Harold.

I am a fish skin artist. I make fish skin leather and teach classes on how to make fish skin into leather. I am available to teach classes on how to make fish skin baskets and closes on how to make fish skin leather using two different methods – oil and fat tanned, and bark tanned.

I do classes for a variety of organizations or if I have enough interest, I will sign people up and teach a class via Zoom or in person. Contact me through my FB or Instagram page @creativenativeak – Quyana for your support.
